Magh Gupta Navratri 2023: It has special importance in Hindu religion. Shakti is worshiped in this festival which lasts for nine days. According to the calendar of Hindu religion, there is a festival of Navratri four times a year. Apart from Chaitra and Sharadiya Navratri, there are two Gupta Navratri. According to the Panchang, the first Gupta Navratri falls in the month of Magha and the second in the month of Ashadh. During Gupta Navratri, apart from the nine forms of Maa Durga, ten Mahavidyas of Maa Bhagwati Durga are worshipped. Jyotishacharya Dr. Anish Vyas, director of Pal Balaji Astrology Institute, Jaipur, Jodhpur, told that on January 22 this year, Magh Gupta Navratri will start in Siddhi Yoga. Gupta Navratri will last for 9 days from 22nd January to 30th January.

This Gupta Navratri lasts from Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Magha month till Navami. Worshipers of Maa Durga perform Shakti Sadhana and Tantra Siddhi in a secret way for 9 days. Gupta Navratri is considered important for the achievement of Gupta Sadhana and Vidyas. There are four Navratris in the whole year, in which there are two Gupta Navratris and two visible Navratris. There are Gupta Navratri in the month of Magh and Ashadh and Chaitra Navratri in Prakat Navratri and Sharadiya Navratri in the month of Ashwin. These four Navratris are mentioned in Devi Bhagwat Mahapuran for the worship of Maa Durga. Magh Gupta Navratri starts from Magh Shukla Pratipada, which lasts till Navami Tithi. This year Magh Shukla Pratipada Tithi is on 22nd January and Navami Tithi is on 30th January. According to the Hindu calendar, Magh Gupta Navratri is the last Navratri of Vikram Samvatsar 2079.

Magh Gupta Navratri begins in Siddhi Yoga
Jyotishacharya Dr. Vyas told that this year on January 22, Magh Gupta Navratri will start in Siddhi Yoga. Vajra Yoga is there till 10:06 am on this day. After that there is Siddhi Yoga, which is till 05:41 am the next day. In this case, the Kalash Sthapana of Magh Gupta Navratri will be in Siddhi Yoga. At the time of establishment of the urn, if there is Siddhi Yoga in Abhijeet Muhurta, the work is accomplished.

Jyotishacharya Dr. Vyas further told that during the Gupta Navratri of Magh month, many fasts and festivals are celebrated. This time Vinayaki Chaturthi fast will be observed on 25 January under Gupta Navratri. On January 26, the manifestation of Goddess Saraswati will be celebrated as Vasant Panchami. On January 28, there will be the festival of Achala and Rath Saptami. Bhishma Ashtami fast will be observed on 29 January. Mahanand Navami will be celebrated on the last day of Gupta Navratri i.e. 30th January. According to the Hindu calendar, this will be the last Navratri of Vikram Samvatsar 2079.

Gupta Navratri in auspicious conjunction of Shani
Astrologer and Kundali analyst Dr. Anish Vyas told that from January 17, the planet Saturn has moved from Capricorn to Aquarius. Such a yoga is formed once in 30 years when Saturn resides in its own zodiac sign Aquarius. This time, Gupt Navratri of Magh month will be celebrated while Saturn is in its own sign. On the first day of Gupta Navratri i.e. on January 22, the planet Venus will also enter Aquarius, due to which the conjunction of Venus-Saturn will remain intact during the entire Navratri. It is believed that during Gupta Navratri, worship of Goddess is not done by telling anyone. That’s why these days have been given the name Gupta. Secret rituals are performed for nine days during Gupta Navratri. Ten forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped these days. It is believed that in these Navratri, the Goddess becomes pleased quickly with the worship and gives desired results. The more secrecy there is in this sadhna, the sooner you will get its results.

Maa Kalike, Tara Devi, Tripur Sundari Devi, Bhuneshwari Devi, Maa Dhumravati, Baglamukhi Mata, Matangi Mata and Devi Kamla are worshiped in Gupta Navratri. These days Goddess worship is done by chanting mantras, Shri Durga Saptshati, Havan. If you are uncomfortable in performing Havan etc rituals, then you can make any kind of resolution for nine days by chanting 1.25 lakh mantras. Or you can recite Ram Raksha Strot, Devi Bhagwat etc. by taking a resolution for nine days. Mother is pleased by doing spiritual practice by lighting unbroken lamp. Fortune teller and horoscope analyst Dr. Vyas told that Maa Kalike, Tara Devi, Tripura Sundari, Bhuvaneshwari, Mata Chitramasta, Tripura Bhairavi, Maa Dhumravati, Mata Baglamukhi, Matangi, Kamla Devi are worshipped.

Prophet Dr. Vyas told that idol or picture of Maa Durga, vermilion, saffron, camphor, barley, incense, cloth, mirror, comb, bracelet-bangle, scented oil, bandanwar of mango leaves, red flowers, durva, henna, Bindi, Betel Nut, Turmeric Lump and Ground Turmeric, Patra, Aasan, Chowki, Roli, Molly, Pushpahar, Belpatra, Kamalgatta, Barley, Bandanwar, Deepak, Deepbatti, Naivedya, Honey, Sugar, Panchmeva, Nutmeg, Javitri, Coconut , Aasan, sand, soil, betel leaves, cloves, cardamom, urn made of clay or brass, Havan material, plate for worship, white cloth, milk, curd, seasonal fruit, mustard white and yellow, Gangajal etc.

Worship Maa Durga like this
Astrologer and horoscope analyst Dr. Vyas told that during Gupta Navratri, Tantriks and Aghori worship Maa Durga at midnight. Red vermilion and chunri with golden braids are offered by installing the statue or idol of Maa Durga. After this the worship material is offered at the feet of the mother. Offering red flowers to Maa Durga is considered auspicious. By lighting a lamp with mustard oil, the mantra ‘Om Dun Durgaayi Namah’ should be chanted.

second- For long life, offer Mishri, Sugar and Panchamrit to Maa Brahmacharini on Dwitiya Tithi.
Tritiya- To get rid of sorrow, offer milk and things made from it to Maa Chandraghanta on Tritiya Tithi.
Chaturthi- To increase sharp intelligence and decision-making ability, offer Malpua to Maa Kushmanda on Chaturthi Tithi.
Panchami- For a healthy body, offer banana to Mother Skandamata.
